Fun fact: You can adjust the finish of your print using temperature and speed. Printing faster and at a lower temperature will give you a satin-like effect (similar to silk shine or even brushed steel). On the other hand, higher temperatures and slower outer wall printing create a stronger light reflection, resulting in greater shine that resembles polished metal.

This is a ReFill-type spool insert. To use it, you’ll need a reusable Masterspool. You can print one yourself (the STL file is available in the “DOWNLOAD” section) or purchase it from our store. Print efficiently and sustainably.
Tip: To achieve the highest level of shine, use profiles dedicated to PLA Silk, reduce the outer wall printing speed, or increase the temperature. PLA Silk requires a slightly higher temperature than standard PLA.
