Project name: NET4MAT

Main objective: The NET4MAT project develops biodegradable and antimicrobial materials with microbial detection properties. The project integrates lanthanide glycoclusters and porphyroids into polysaccharide-based formulations, aiming at eco-friendly solutions for food packaging and medical applications. The project focuses on optimising polymer processing techniques, including extrusion, injection moulding and electrospinning, ensuring real-world application. This collaborative effort seeks to revolutionise the design of sustainable materials, enabling advanced antimicrobial bioplastics.
